The Executives of the Many3m3i Kakalɔi Akpee, an association of Queen Mothers in Ga Mashie, Greater Accra Region, have paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Hon. Emelia Arthur, to express their support for her leadership and celebrate her as a role model for young people in the region.

During the visit, the Queen Mothers congratulated the Minister on her appointment and assured her of their unwavering commitment to helping her achieve her vision for the fisheries sector. They also appealed to the Minister to create more job opportunities for the youth in their communities.Hon. Emelia Arthur, in response, expressed gratitude to the Queen Mothers for the honour and encouragement. She reiterated her determination to serve the Ministry and the nation with dedication. The Minister further assured the delegation of her commitment to supporting youth development by facilitating access to jobs and vocational training opportunities aimed at improving livelihoods.
