A Historic Step for Ghana’s Ocean 🌊
Ghana is set to officially unveil the Marine Protected Area in the Greater Cape Three Points Area on Tuesday, 14 April 2026, at Busua Beach Resort in the Western Region.
With H.E. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang as Guest of Honour, alongside Hon. Emelia Arthur, this marks a major step toward protecting marine biodiversity, rebuilding fish stocks, sustaining coastal livelihoods, and growing a resilient blue economy.
