The Scientific and Technical Committee (STC) of the Fisheries Commission paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Emelia Arthur.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized exploring Closed Areas and Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) as key strategies for sustaining Ghana’s fish stocks.

The minister appreciated the committee’s dedication and urged all stakeholders to work together to create a sustainable and thriving fishing industry.
