The Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Hon. Emelia Arthur, on Friday, September 4, 2026, signed the Book of Condolence opened at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Accra to honour the late King Harald V of Norway.

Hon. Emelia Arthur signed the book to convey her condolences to the Royal Family, Government and people of Norway following the passing of the Norwegian monarch.

She was accompanied by the Chief Director of the Ministry, Dr. Afisah Zakariah, and the Deputy Executive Director of the Fisheries Commission, Dr. Eric Cobbinah.

The Minister’s expression of solidarity conveyed Ghana’s support for the people of Norway during the period of national mourning and reflected the cordial relations between Ghana and Norway.
